One of the biggest paradoxes in health data: the most valuable insights are locked within the most sensitive and difficult-to-access information. This creates a natural brake on innovation.

A notable example of tackling this challenge is the new partnership between Atropos Health and Databricks. My congratulations to Brigham Hyde and his team. Having gotten to know Brigham through our shared work on the strategic advisory board at QuantHealth, I've been keenly following the progress at Atropos.

This move to integrate their platform directly with a foundational data environment like Databricks makes a great deal of sense. It addresses key concerns around data governance and simplifies the workflow for researchers.

Ultimately, this kind of integration should help move Real-World Evidence from a specialized tool for data scientists to a practical resource for clinicians and researchers.

What do you think is the biggest remaining barrier to the widespread adoption of RWE in routine clinical practice?
