CB insights has just released this report on the AI readiness of different hospital systems in the US, with the usual suspects like Mayo, Intermountain, and Cleveland Clinic leading the list.
I'd love to see a similar study done for Europe. From my experience working with different startups in the field, I see higher interest in France (probably also influenced by the strategic importance of AI for the nation and the academic talent there), and Spain, as well as several Scandinavian markets, quite ahead of places like Germany or Switzerland (in spite of great innovation coming out of places like the ETH Zürich).
What are your thoughts on where we stand with regards to adopting and leveraging AI in the hospital in Europe?
