UpDoc’s 510(k) cleared “concierge doctor” leaves a liability hole
UpDoc says it has the first FDA clearance for a patient-facing clinical LLM, reached through the 510(k) pathway. I argue the device framework was never built for a model making medication calls, and liability when it is wrong has not been tested.
